I craved and they delivered. The first time I heard about sugarmoo.com was when I tried one of their wonderful cakes at our office celebration. It was a Red velvet cake with cream cheese and Oreo frosting center, covered in chocolate fudge cream cheese frosting and oreo cookie crumbles. Well impressed that I went back to my desk and was on sugarmoo.com website to see what more they had in stock. Their online ordering page was a temptation. Since then I’ve been itching to showcase sugarmoo desserts on my site. The picture you see above is the second cake we ordered from sugarmoo.com for our next office celebration. Unfortunately they don’t have a store where you can sit and eat but you make your orders online on their website sugarmoo.com and it get’s delivered to your address within 24 hours or 48 hours if it’s a custom order.

On their website the next attractive cake after their heavy duty cakes was their Pistachio Rosewater Baklava cheesecake. A fusion between English and Arabic dessert. Best of both worlds. Very different from the typical cheese cake and very attractive in taste as well. I love this unique offering from sugarmoo and is a must try for cheese cake lovers. Pistachio custard filled in white chocolate chip cookie base was also a base with a twist. The cupcake base was very different from the typical cupcakes you’d expect and is definitely a delicious one along with the pistachio custard in it. There was a good demand for this piece at our house.

The puddings came in their own glass jars. You really need to be chia fan to appreciate the vanilla chia seed pudding. I am not a big fan of it so I didn’t really enjoy this one for a dessert. On the other hand banoffee was something that I really enjoyed. It was a nice thick pudding. You can also find those famous kerala banana fried chips on top of the banoffee pudding.

The so called raw energy bombs is a combination of cocoa and dates. So what happens is the dates dominates the taste more than the chocolate so eventually you feel like you are eating a ball of dates. The raw energy bombs would stick to your mouth as you would expect from a date. The best part of the fudge brownie balls is the halawa in it. The fudge brownie was very dense in a bite. What beat them all was the whacky oreo truffles. I thoroughly enjoyed this one. The oreo truffles actually felt like a bomb to me. You put in your mouth and there is a burst of intense oreo chocolate. Whacky Oreo Truffles was the one I hesitated to order since I saw it coated with cream but this turned out to be the best!

For those of you who worry about eggs, milk or even butter. Here’s a crazy cake specially for those who are allergic or health conscious. The cake can be appreciated considering the ingredients they have removed for health sake but it wouldn’t be as tasty as the original ones that’s made from all the sinful ingredients. The chewy chocolate cookie was also another item that impressed me. You bite and it would just melt in your mouth. You could feel the richness of the chocolate. My only issue with this one was that the cookies stick to themselves. So I really couldn’t get a full size cookie in my hand. It kept sticking to each other and breaking.
