Conrad Dubai, a luxury wing from the chain of hotels owned by Hilton. Hilton Hotel was founded by Conrad Hotel and this hotel is obviously named after him. Conrad Dubai is located in the heart of Dubai opposite to World Trade Center(Dubai’s first tallest building). Infact you get down from the World Trade Center Metro station and you are in Conrad Hotel already. Conrad Dubai being located at a prime location is quite busy and the occupancy seems to be quite high. At a prime location with modern decor, state of the art facilities and some of the finest fine dining restaurants, this hotel is a favourite to many visitors in Dubai. When we were staying we found out two football national teams were also staying at Conrad which shows the hotel is quite an interest to international clubs and stars.
Our suite was located on the 45th floor. The panoramic views from our room where breath taking. The fact that you could just stare down the busiest road in Dubai lazing from your couch was special. Never did I ever imagine I would one day shower with a view of the great Sheikh Zayed road š
Besides the luxury, one of the big benefits of living in a suite at Conrad Dubai is the complimentary access to the Executive Lounge. A relaxed seating and lounge access to dine, meet or work. ExecutiveĀ Lounge is complimentary for Executive, Conrad and Royal Suite guests.Ā Some of the benefits of Executive Lounge would be:

- Private meeting room
- A private buffet breakfast, afternoon tea and evening canapƩs
- Daily newspapers and discreet television news.
One of the first benefit that we took advantage was the private check in and check out, as the main reception of Conrad Dubai is quite busy and we would have been waiting in the queue had it not been for the Executive Lounge.
The Executive Lounge is open all day from 06:00am to 11:00pm. You get complimentary tea/coffee/juices and snacks during this time.Ā Ā During the below hours there have a special scrumptious buffet served at Executive Lounge.

- Afternoon teaĀ –Ā 03:00pm to 5:00pm
- Even canapesĀ –Ā 06:00pm to 08:00pm
Finally we enter our grand 120 sqm Executive Suite located on the 45th floor. A luxurious sleek and modern suite which makes you feel at home with a fully sized living room with a dining area. The space was amazing specially inside the master bedroom and the marble bathrooms was eye catching. Being on the top of the 45th floor, you could see an entire Dubai from your window.
The Executive suite had amenities , offering a separate living room, Bose surround sound system, iPod docking station and a private Nespresso machine which comes with two complimentary coffee cartridges.Ā For the night we were able to make use of the DVD player available in our suite as they provide complimentary selection of DVD movies.
The spacious marble bathroom comes with luxurious toiletries. The bathroom quite long from one end to the other. There is also an HDTV placed next to your bath with remote for TV as well as curtain control or you could also enjoy a nice standing bath in the separate rain shower provided. Not to mention, you have a magnificent view of Dubai while you shower.
On the 6th floor of Conrad is where we found a different world altogether. The ultimate escape within the city with beautifully landscaped lush gardens and a temperate controlled pool in the center. The pool is accessible from 06:00 am to 08:00pm. It’s a pretty sight and for those who don’t stay at Conrad can pay Dhs 125 to swim at Purobeach which includes the use of sunbeds around the pool, towels and welcome tray with fresh fruits and water.
Once I was out of the beautiful pool I was definitely hungry and fortunately Purobeach serves a delicious menu. The fried Panko prawns, Calamari and steamed Edamame was simply awesome. Just have them with their respective dippers and they are lip smacking good.
Conrad Hotel has a gymnasium to impress. You will firstly be impressed with the long stretch of thread mills along with exercise bikes. All of them had television on it where you could viewĀ your favourite TV station while you exercised. Infact this gym was sized to suit sports professionals and that’s why the morning when I came in to the gym I saw an entire football team going through their routine exercise. This is the first hotel which had a dedicated space for Yoga. They also have Yoga classes which is usually priced at AED 60 and hotel guests get 20% discount. Conrad also had one of the best equipped Spas with 8 treatment rooms, 2 couple rooms, a relaxation lounge, Hammam Suite and hydro and relaxation pools.
Breakfast was international at their restaurant Ballaro. Breakfast is Buffet served from 06:00 to 11:00am. To me the Arabic section was my favourite at their breakfast. They had almost everything made perfect in the arabic selection for breakfast.
Interiors were lovely. Long and airy. A mix of sofas and chairs. The restaurant wasn’t crowded. No rush as I thought it would be. You could also sit out facing the Purobeach. Both Purobeach and Ballaro were located next to each other on the 6th floor of the hotel. Ballaro turns completely Italian by evening.
As you can see you can find all that you need for your breakfast. It’s international and you have a massive selection. They also take good care and attention of their guests. Even if you are health conscious they had all that selection you need including gluten free items etc. One of the items where I thought they really need to improve was the American waffles.
All in all Conrad really gives you a Five Star treatment. The moment you are in the hotel you know you already get the feeling of a Five star hotel. Nothing better than living in a suite.
