Nezesaussi Grill, the perfect restaurant for sports lovers. The name is a little difficult to pronounce for most of the time but its actually a name that is made from 3 countries together which is New Zealand, South Africa and Australia. Promoting best of both, food and sports from these countries. What is featured today is the AED 99 Saturday Roast which is available every Saturday from 12pm-7pm.
Saturday Roast Menu has a selection of 3 mains:
- Roast Baby Chicken
- Ribeye
- Fish – Catch of the day
All Saturday Roast mains come with roasted potatoes, grilled vegetables and traditional Yorkshire pudding. Saturday Roast for AED 99 is inclusive of Soft Beverages. Unfortunately they don’t have any sweet endings covered in the price.
It’s television all around the walls. So no matter were you sit you have a perfect view of the match you want to see. They also can change the sport you prefer to watch. So if there are multiple LIVE matches they very much are flexible in tuning the channels next to your seat. Solid wooden chairs and tables where you can have a serious discussion over a match with great food served on the table.
First came in the complimentary bread along with olive oil and butter. The bread was hot, crisp and brilliant in taste. It was a good start we had for our Saturday Roast. The Accompaniments, the butter and olive oil made it even better and we just couldn’t appreciate it more. For drinks, they just made us random mocktails. Both lime and mint and berry burst had it’s own taste which went well with our dishes .The fresh mango juice felt a bit boring compared to the mocktails.
All mains came served in a wooden board. The fish was marinated well and it tasted fresh. The whole chicken was delicious. There was lots of chicken to eat compared to the fish. The fish just got over before I even realized. The Yorkshire pudding should fill you up quickly.
Then came the highlight of the day. For sure I can tell the sirloin was the man of the match. The meat was tender and juicy. Surprisingly they never asked us the preference for sauce for any of the meats. The default sauce that came with it was decent but the sirloin by itself was very good. Not to forget, the roasted vegetables that came with all the mains, gave it a nice company.
Unfortunately they don’t have cover any desserts for their Saturday Roast. So this will come at an additional cost. The passion fruit brûlée came with strawberries in passion fruit sauce. Together the cream brûlée felt zest and it add a nice touch to the plain cream brulee. The sticky toffee pudding was actually disappointing. The cake felt very dry.
Overall we were happy with the Saturday Roast. The meats are fresh and well prepared and tasted fresh. For some AED 99 for just a main might be a little too much. Click here to visit the official page of Nezesaussi Grill. Click pictures below to see them in full screen view:
