The weather and the views outside is pretty good that most diners preferred to sit in the balcony of the restaurant. The views of the lush green grass from the Golf course at JA Lake View Hotel in front of the restaurant was wonderful. The LIVE music is being played on stage in the center of their balcony. The spot is a little tricky as you don’t get a straight view of the stage. The stage singing was pretty good and did add a nice vibe to the Friday brunch ambience. The buffet is spread indoor and outdoor. All the barbecue grills, Tandoori stations, Arabic and western styled grilled meat and seafood are found being prepared and served outside in open air at a tent. Rest of the brunch is all available inside the restaurant. The buffet features multiple drink stations which also includes a trolley mixologist who would go from one table to another, frequently to serve you a customized drink as per your order.
Cheese lovers are going to love this buffet as they will find atleast 20 different kinds of cheese from Italy and France. The brunch has also vegan specialties such as the vegan mezze, salad, risotto and noodles. Different kinds of breads and you are surely going to find that favourite of yours. It’s lot of fun when you think about having the choice of going around and choosing your type of bread and then cutting them by yourself, selecting your kind of cheese and glorifying it with the different kinds of honey and jam. Sushi tasted great and big collection of cold seafood. Salads were ample and were of great quality.
They also had a LIVE station inside the restaurant where you see them making fresh Arabic appetizers. I just can’t remember the name but it was supposed to be a Jordanian special filled with chicken and Arabic spices. There was also a section dedicated to Indian starters such as the samoosa and chaats. The one draw back I noticed is, unless you are an Indian you wouldn’t know how to make youself a chaat, therefore there should have been someone dedicated at the Indian corner to serve items such as pani puri, kachori which requires little bit of knowledge and understanding of the item and how to prepare it. You would also find mains such as noodles, rice and beef stew. I remember the beef inside the stew being tender and delicious.
Alright this is the most exciting station for most adults. There is where you find all those tantalizing grills such as the slow roasted beef, briskets, short ribs and other steaks. You also have other stations on the side such as the seafood paella and the LIVE noodle station. From the noodle station, you can pick and choose what you like and they make it fresh in front of you. This would be the best part of LIVE station where you have a choice, where you can choose what you want in it. Luckily there wasn’t any queue as such. Everything was just moving smoothly in rhythm.
Children have their own exclusive buffet counter which includes some of the all time favorites such as the sliders, mac and cheese, pasta, fish fingers, french fries, corn flakes etc. Desserts are on a different level. Kids also have much more to do here besides eating. To keep them entertained there is a clown who keeps them on their feet. A giant bouncy castle where you also see sometimes the adults enjoying inside it. A basket ball court. Archery. Candy station, Dancing stage, karaoke, face painting. A dedicated teens lounge where you see them play foosball(table football), gaming consoles, board games etc. It’s an interesting space for the teens, we’ve never see this one before on a brunch. This shows the commitment by the restaurant to ensure that it is a complete brunch catering everyone, everybody is taken care and nobody is in a rush to go back home!
My favourite section would be the dessert station. It’s like you are in heaven. Plenty of cakes and tarts to try. Their cheese cake was a like a celebrity on the dessert table. They had atleast 8 different kinds of cheese cakes. Nutella topped cheese cake was my favourite. The base of the cheese cake was very different and had to be appreciated for it’s quality. Also they would be one of the prettiest cheesecakes. On the other side you find other kinds of cakes, they even had gluten free cakes, and high layered cakes such as chocolate mousse cake, carrot cake, fruit cake etc. They also had different kinds of pudding, the Tiramisu would be my pick from that section. There was also a softie ice cream machine where you take a fine cone and make your own ice cream filled with toppings, kids were just loving this experience.
You could always ask for a hot tea/coffee at the end of brunch which they bring to your table. Click here to visit their official website. Click pictures below to see them in full screen view:
