From the time you put your foot to the pedal you are overwhelmed with its exhilarating drive. Each shift of the gear is felt and gets your adrenaline going. This car has been all sound and thunder. The Audi RS 3 is truly an energetic performer and definitely generates goose bumps when you are behind this wheel. The RS 3 is designed young and sporty that even kids relate to their toy cars. The color options are unique and an exquisite detailing to the inside and outside of the vehicle makes it a fancy car on the road. A dedicated RS-mode button exist on the steering wheel to have drivers rock the car their way. You definitely need to try an Audi RS 3 if you enjoy performance cars. It’s more than just an acceleration, it’s an experience.

The RS exhaust system with two large oval tailpipes. The 19-inch alloy wheels with RS Brake calipers painted in red lend expression to the vehicle’s dynamism. An RS signature day time running lights that features a checkered flag design which animates during the entry and exit from the car. The day time ‘animation’ is not something you notice unless you specifically look for it. All wheel drive comes as standard. The carbon roof edge spoiler is one attractive piece on the RS 3. Stylish, good looking and compliments the carbon side mirrors. The sun roof is manual as opposed to everything else in the vehicle which is electronic.

The moment you step into the vehicle you are impressed with it’s design layout. The green glossy strip on the AC vents is a highlight and gives it’s a sleek modern look, although it feels plastic. I thought they could have used a better material. This would be the only part on the inside that felt fragile, otherwise the interior materials are a class of it’s own. The ergonomic steering wheel felt great to hold with a flat cut bottom and also an embossed RS badge on it. The more time I held the steering wheel, I could feel the hard texture of the steering wheel which means although the Alcantra feels nice to touch, it does not give the same level of cushioning as a leather. I think leather steering wheel feels better in the long run. Also the Alcantra material gets dirty quickly so you need to be extra cautious with dust and dirt. The green strip marking on top of the steering wheel was impressive on how detailed they customize every corner of the vehicle to have a uniform theme.
The 12.3 inch Audi Virtual Cockpit plus includes a specific RS-specfiic mode featuring an runaway design higlighting power and torque percentage. The rpm display in the “RS Runway” design is new. Here the values are displayed in the opposite direction in a manner that visually resembles an airplane runway – the highest speed in the foreground and the lowest speed in the background. In addition, the Audi virtual cockpit plus includes displays for g-forces, lap times and acceleration. A wireless Apple carplay is available and can recharge your phone wirelessely using the wirless phone chargin pad. The best part of the carplay is it being wireless.
The gearshifter is tiny and can simply be operated by your thumb. You have dedicated buttons for AC vent controls as well as the driving mode. The beauty about using a carplay in an Audi is wireless unlike other cars where you need to connect a cable with your device to see it working. This makes it so convenient. They also have a wireless charging and also gives you a notification when you forget the phone in the charging stand once you switch off the engine. The door handles are ergonomically designed and has a cut open that makes it convenient to easily access it. The door closing has been a little challenging as you need to really shut hard for it to close, I think if this door was electronic to close it would have helped. Bang & Olufsen speakers have been mind blowing. Listening to music in this vehicle is just amazing. There is a also a special exit sound made when you exit the vehicle. You have usb-c ports only and also the rear passengers have a dedicated usb-c ports to charge their device.
