TANG delivers a dining experience that’s both memorable and impeccably stylish. The interior is a masterclass in balance: deep woods, soft lighting, and subtle Asian design accents create a cozy yet upscale atmosphere. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable, attentive without being overbearing. The staff were knowledgeable, guiding us through the menu with thoughtful recommendations based on our preferences. Whether you’re dining inside or on the terrace next to the fountain with a full view of the Burj Khalifa, the atmosphere is elegant without being pretentious. The cleansing towels on the table were fun to use, more like magic where it would grow when dipped in water.

We started off with their mesmerizing mocktails which had a unique flavour and gave us a new taste. Colorful and couldn’t stop on a sip. The starters – Tuna Tataki was simple, sophisticated, and absolutely delicious. Thin slices of premium-grade tuna, lightly seared on the outside while staying rich and raw within, were artfully arranged over a drizzle of tangy ponzu sauce. The tuna’s natural texture was attractive and the accompanying ponzu dressing which was zesty, citrusy elevated each bite without overwhelming the clean flavor of the fish. Crispy calamari is the kind of dish that disappears from the table almost instantly, what really set it apart was the jalapeno sauce, which added a fresh and spicy punch that elevated the entire crunchy dish to the next level. The steamed white dim sums were cute and can be appreciated for it’s craftsmanship – slightly chewy outside, tender and flavorful on the inside.

The SAKURA Platter was a luxurious, sensory journey through Japanese flavors. The platter arrived like a work of art: a vibrant, colorful arrangement of the freshest Sashimi, Nigiri, Maki and specialty rolls, carefully crafted to please both the eyes and the palate. Each piece was placed with precision. The fish was impeccably fresh — clean, tender, and bursting with natural flavor. The rice was just right, forming the perfect base for the expertly sliced fish. The beauty of the presentation, the precision of the flavors, and the thoughtful pacing of the dining experience made it feel almost ceremonial. It’s the kind of dish you linger over, savoring each bite with a sense of appreciation.

The coconut seabass looked stunning in the center of that plate. A perfectly cooked fillet of seabass, glistening under a silky coconut-infused sauce, garnished with vibrant herbs and edamame. The seabass itself was flawless — moist, tender, creamy yet light, subtly sweet yet perfectly savory. On the side, a bed of jasmine rice – a simple accompaniment into a highlight of its own. This Coconut Seabass was pure comfort and elegance rolled into one — a dish that felt both refined and soul-satisfying. The lamb chops arrived beautifully plated — thick, juicy cuts, expertly seared to a deep golden brown with just the right amount of char on the edges. The first cut into the lamb revealed a gorgeous pink center — cooked to a perfect medium-rare. Each bite was incredibly tender, almost melting in the mouth, with just enough resistance to remind you that you’re eating a premium cut of meat. What really elevated the dish was the sauce that accompanied it which made it even more flavorful.

The special occassion platter came with cut fruits, dates and a dessert. The fruit platter was fresh, beautifully presented, and cut artfully. The dessert was irresistible. From the moment the spoon cracks through the delicate outer shell, the hidden core of salted caramel oozes out which was warm, golden, and just salty enough to cut through the richness of the chocolate, creating a beautifully balanced bite in every spoon. Paired with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream, it’s elevated to a new level of indulgence. The contrast between the warm fondant and cold ice cream is nothing short of divine.
