We started with the traditional Turkish mezze. Think creamy hummus, smoky baba ghanoush, tangy ezme, stuffed vine leaves, and freshly baked flaky pastries(borek) that’s dangerously easy to keep reaching for. Each mezze felt well balanced and authentic yet full of character. Juicy kebabs, perfectly seasoned kofta, and tender cuts of meat fresh from fire. The warm flaky, crunchy borek from the hot appetizers was one of the best i’ve had. I had this big plan of finishing my meal with cheese, and I honestly couldn’t visit back the cheese section because I was so full. The terrace seating felt nice and cold whereas if you are seated inside you enjoy LIVE Arabic music, which was pleasant.

And just when you think you’re full, the dessert spread pulls you back in. Classic Turkish sweets like baklava and milk-based puddings. But the real showstopper was the iconic Turkish ice cream made from goat’s milk. Stretchy, chewy, and delightful. Creamy yet light with that signature elasticity, it was the perfect ending to the meal. If there is anything they could elevate, it would be expanding the collection of the Turkish baklavas.

Overall, Taste of Anatolia at Flow Kitchen is a celebration of Turkish culinary heritage. Whether you’re a long-time lover of Turkish cuisine or discovering it for the first time, this is one feast that’s absolutely worth the indulgence.
