Here’s a perfect family Friday Beach Barbecue that happens at the private beach of Traders hotel, Abu Dhabi. Thanks to the kids entertainment arranged by Traders hotel, we had a great time along with kids at the Friday Beach Barbecue. A Barbecue of different meats made for you fresh and LIVE. Kids between 6 and 12 get 50% discount from the original package. Adults pay dhs 185 per person inclusive of soft drinks.
The climate was lovely and it was the perfect time to have a barbecue in the evening at the beach. The hotel ensures you have a clean experience at the beach barbecue. They have different table arrangements for the size of people including cabanas. The beach area was quite dark so no body really spent time in the beach after 06:00pm. Friday Beach Barbecue at Traders hotel starts every Friday from 5pm to 11pm.
At Friday Beach Barbecue you have a good selection of mains, salads and desserts. Since these meats are freshly barbecued for you as you request for it, it does take a bit of waiting at times for your meat to be ready especially when everyone wants it together. Thankfully, they do have a service where they drop of your grilled meat at your table when it’s ready. It starts from 05:00pm and as expected get’s busier with the evening.
Children had a great time here. Their number one seller is the bouncy castle which turned out to be a mega hit. The kids just wouldn’t stop playing in it and with so many other kids in there, it’s lot of fun for all of them. Additionally they had face painting and dedicated play area too. Little bit of those pop corns, ice creams and candies tailored for them made them feel in a dream land of their own. The kids were so busy and lost in fun that they really didn’t bother us at all.
They had a good selection of seafood, cold meats and salads. They didn’t have a wide range of selection but whatever they had was satisfying. The English salads were pretty good and this was a place for seafood lovers. Some of their housed mocktails are lovely. The no. 1 mocktail recommended to try would be their signature Traders Breeze. The virgin pina colada wasn’t that great and probably the only one I didn’t like from the four mocktails I tried 🙂
Seafood lovers would definitely be happy. They’ve got lots to try and eat. For non seafood they have different kinds of chicken and beef items which includes sausages, sheesh tauk, burgers, lamb meat. The grills have been terrific and the no.1 performer would be their tiger prawns which was in high demand. They also had a separate section for Fish and chips. The potato fries where just awesome. Thick and just the kind we all love them.
Be it burgers, sausages, skewers, prawns. Your mouth goes watering as you see and wait for them getting grilled and barbecued. They do have a shawarma station as well.
The colorful desserts were quite impressive. They had all that dessert to cheer you up like the cheese cakes, brownies, arabic baklawas, tarts. The desserts at the dessert table also keeps changing as the original ones finish. The first time I went to the dessert table I thought I missed some of them but then later I could see new set of desserts joining the table. The good news is whatever they have at the dessert counter has been delightful and gratifying.
