There’s been a new Thai restaurant ringing bells and we just couldn’t resist ourselves visiting them. Surely there’s no better place to visit than a Thai restaurant when you need some punch of spices in your dish. Fuchsia is a nice lovely looking modern restaurant that you would be happy to take your company to make a nice impression. It’s not the best Thai I’ve had in Dubai but they’ve got a few kitties in their bag to make an impression.
Like you see above, the interiors are very relaxing and modern. Just love the tables and chairs. Fuchsia is located right at the center of the business bay buildings and so when you sit out it’s a nice view in open air. The weather was fantastic during our lunch and this should be the best time to sit out at Fuchsia.
Mocktails were interesting. Each one of them being different from the other. Fuchsia delight (center drink) made from mango and coconut milk was mainly dominated by Mango. I highly recommend the streets of Bangkok which was very rejuvenating in taste and one of those rare drinks I’ve actually enjoyed with cucumbers in it.
The Fried Calamari was straight forward as expected and the attraction for me in it was the spicy peanut dip which is a thick irresistible sauce. There wasn’t something right about the Crispy fried fish salad. The salad was great but the fish in it spoiled the show to be honest. Simply because there was a strong smell from the fish that you just woudn’t expect in a salad and I felt the fish actually spoilt the better salad. The dim sums were just lovely and made to perfection. I couldn’t complain on that one for sure.
The lemon grass chicken wings definitely was better appreciated than the beef FROM THE WOK section. The only problem with the tenderloin was that it just didn’t taste fresh for some reason.
I must admit the real magic was in the Pan fried salmon main which was actually from their specials. It definitely was a special one and this is where we could really appreciate Fuchsia’s speciality. Pad Thai came a nice big portion and was descent in taste. The brown rice was pretty looking and different.
The crispy chocolate spring rolls with oozing chocolate was more of a kids affair. I highly recommend to stick to the traditional desserts like the banana Sushi and sticky rice with mango which were just brilliant.
I forgot to mention Fuchsia service was super quick and you wouldn’t have to wait much for your order to reach your table. Just as you see above, coincidentally the home delivery vehicle just parked in front of us on our way back from the restaurant. Yes, Fuchsia has home delivery service, you can even order home if you don’t feel like driving to the venue.
