Get high by simply eating at High Joint. We came across this branch when we first heard of their 1 AED offer for their amazing softie (only available at their Al Khawaneej branch). Todays visit was just a little more than their softie, we ate some of their signature burgers, fries, wings and drinks. It’s been an exciting ride at High Joint, scroll down to know more about our bites at High Joint.
High joint store at Al Khawaneej is pretty small. Although many people could sit in and eat at the restaurant, it’s more of a tightly seated arrangement with high stools, more like a drinks bar. It suits the kind of food they serve and blends well with their menu though. We noticed during our lunch most visitors came at High Joint to take advantage of their 1 AED softie. We kick started our lunch with their amazing thin long fries. One was spicy and the other is flooded with cheese, sauce and beef. Obviously the crowd was more inclined to the second one which felt more rich for it’s layered toppings. But I personally enjoyed the dry spicy High fries. You are very well going to be happy ordering any fries here and it’s worth sharing. The high buffalo wings was pungent in taste, but you are going to love the sauce. The Asian wings was a lighter version and a different taste all together but their signature High wings would be my pick here.
We tried the latest from the burger menu which was a newly introduced burger that was inspired from the Hardees favourite hit, a roast Beef burger. Surely this burger was mind blowing! Loved everything in it and you really appreciate the beef in it, even the bun was super soft and fresh. We also tried their well advertised Spicy Mango slaw chicken Burger. Everything was different for this burger starting from the bun. The good news ordering this one is, the chicken breast sitting inside this bun is quite big and can definitely fill your hunger. But to be honest, after you try the roast beef burger, you might not enjoy the chicken as much. So if you have the option to pick one, then definitely recommend to try the beef first!
They have different sodas available and each one of them have been different from the other. I was happy to stick with the classic cola but most people loved the mandarin flavour. For the desserts, we obviously went for the signature softies which was a super ending to our lunch. This 1 AED special offer softie makes up for our long trip to Al Khawaneej. Just when we thought the softie icecream was the best part, the cone was even better when we took our first bite. One of the best cones, thin and crispy. Click here to visit their official website.
