A lovely restaurant located at a beautiful spot in Dubai Creek Harbour. We couldn’t ask for a better location for our weekend morning. A family and pets friendly restaurant, Mondoux have an attractive menu consisting of healthy smoothie bowls, homemade Brioche toasts, croissants, crepes, croques and even gluten free options available in the menu. Chocolate is a speciality at Mondoux and they have dedicated pages to their chocolate drinks and dishes. It’s a game of white, dark and milk chocolate. You are just going to be overwhelmed with their menu offering if you are a chocolate lover. There is so much for you to try at Mondoux. They also have an attractive collection of homemade cakes. It’s an addictive menu and together with the ambience you are definitely visiting back Mondoux for more than just food.
The restaurant is beautiful by itself. Mondoux have a dedicated kids corner too to keep them busy with kitchen set and toys. The interior is premium with wooden flooring, sofas and comfortable chairs. Different seating arrangements and tables for different number of diners. Perfect for couples and groups as well. Plenty of outside seating with beautiful views of the Creek. This is obviously one of their key selling point. I think diners don’t want to get up from their seats once they are in this cozy space. Its’ a lovely ambience and along with an attractive menu, Mondoux can easily be one of your favourite spots.
They’ve got an elaborate and attractive coffee menu list. It was quite difficult to settle with one. They also make the best chocolate drink in town and they combine it with their coffee it just becomes an unbelievable combination. The presentation of these drinks are also eye catchy. So we tried a little bit of everything. Hot chocolates are a must try if you are truly in love with real chocolate. They have a dedicated 2 page menu just for hot chocolate drinks alone. For me the most addictive drink from our order was definitely the peanut butter frappe, so rich and the taste coming from it wouldn’t allow you stop with your first sip. Espresso with chocolate was definitely an elegant looking drink on the table. The combination of milk chocolate and a strong espresso is something special. The whip cream helped dilute the strong taste of the espresso in the drink. The inverse cappuccino was straight forward once you mix it, the layers vanish and its a typical cold coffee.
We started of our breakfast with an oat porridge which came warm and felt great in the stomach. A healthy breakfast item to try from their menu. You are going to love Oat porridge for good after trying from Mondoux. We also tried to emulate this at home as we were quite impressed with it. The croque madame honestly stole the show. The Toasted bread and the combination inside of swiss cheese and turkey ham was amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed our only savoury item for the morning. The stuffed french toast was unique as we’ve never tried a stuffed version before(although it’s not the best french toast we’ve had). The French toast is even better when you have it with accompanied sauces especially the chocolate one!
They also have an attractive collection homemade cakes at their counter. We obviously had to try it and went for the berry cheesecake. We cherished every slice of it and was a perfect ending to our breakfast morning at Mondoux. Click here to visit their official website where you also get to see their elaborate menu.
