Complimentary water
Berry much milkshake – AED 65 – mixed berries, strawberry, vanilla ice cream, yoghurt and milk
Caramel Macchiato – AED 45

Amaya’s glassware is a standout. Our drinking glass had a cute little bear inside it. Berry Milkshake is a visual treat before you even take a sip. Served tall and chilled in a stylish glass. Topped with a generous dollop of whipped cream and a scattering of fresh berries on top of a creamy pink blend. It’s rich, smooth, and packed with real berry goodness. It’s indulgent but not overwhelming, refreshing but still satisfying. Ideal for cooling off after a walk through the mall or pairing with one of Amaya’s savory dishes. A standout sip that’s both beautiful and bursting with real fruit flavor. Coffee at Amaya comes in a standout designer ceramic cup. The caramel Macchiato was a beautiful balance between bold espresso and creamy sweetness. The espresso is smooth but punchy, providing that much-needed jolt, while the caramel adding sweetness, but never overpowering. Sometimes, all you need is a great cup of coffee and a moment of stillness.

Cheese Platter
Honey comb with clotted cream

The cheese platter arrived beautifully on a ceramic plate. Each cheese being different from the other, some soft creamy, sharp and crumbly or light and tangy. The cheese had some great accompaniments including jams, nuts, crackers and even a luxurious honey comb with clotted cream. Every bite could be reimagined with a different combo making the platter feel indulgent and interactive at the same time. Actually the honey comb and clotted cream was a dessert of it’s own. It’s a Turkish favourite for a premium morning breakfast.

Menemen – Tomatoes, Pepper, Egg, Parsley
Grilled Soujouk and Halloumi platter.

The Soujouk was sizzling, spicy, and bursting with flavor. Crispy edges with a juicy, aromatic center. This Middle Eastern-style sausage brings heat and depth, with notes of garlic, paprika, and cumin standing out in every bite. The grilled golden brown halloumi on the other hand added a beautiful counterbalance to the soujouk’s spice. Slightly salty with a satisfyingly chewy texture, it was the ideal companion. The green chilli in the center was edible and not spicy as you’d think. Menemen, soft scrambled eggs with plenty of tomatoes. I could taste them in each spoon. The Menemen dish was enjoyed with hot breads provided. Ideal for scooping straight from the pan. The round bread is slightly crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy inside, the perfect tool for soaking up the flavorful base.

Homemade Tahina Bread

The homemade tahina bread at Amaya is proof that sometimes, the simplest things really are the best. The tahina bread arrives at the table warm, pillowy, and beautifully golden, with a soft sheen that hints at the rich sesame flavor inside. It’s rustic, inviting, and almost too pretty to tear into. The first bite into the Tahina bread releasing the nutty, slightly sweet aroma of tahina mixed with the comforting scent of freshly baked dough. It’s the kind of smell that makes you pause, breathe in deeply, and smile. What sets this bread apart is its delicate balance of earthiness and richness. The tahina gives it a deep, toasty note, slightly savory, slightly nutty without overpowering the natural flavor of the bread. It’s soft in the center with just enough chew on the crust, and there’s a whisper of sweetness that makes it versatile enough to enjoy on its own or with a spread. In a menu full of rich mains, elaborate platters, and elegant desserts, the homemade tahina bread is a quiet standout.

Lotus Croissant – AED 62 – Croissant Roll with Patisseries cream, Wild berries and Lotus Sauce

The Lotus Croissant Roll is a true showstopper – golden layers spiraled into a perfectly shaped roll, lightly dusted and crowned with fresh berries that add a pop of color. It’s visually stunning. Flaky layers catch the light, the berries glisten, and that Lotus drizzle,  let’s just say your phone camera will eat first. Inside, it’s filled with silky smooth patisserie cream. The texture is everything you want from a croissant based dessert which was crisp and flaky on the outside, tender and buttery within. The cream inside adds a luscious softness and balances the sweetness perfectly. The berries on top bring a welcome tang and freshness. This croissant paired beautifully with my coffee. Amaya’s Lotus Croissant Roll isn’t just a dessert, it’s a luxurious moment. This is the kind of dish that makes you feel like you’re spoiling yourself and rightfully so.
