The steering wheel of the Lexus LX 570 feels great to grip and to hold. It comes with their signature 3 spoke wood and leather combination with paddle shifters. The exclusive Linear Espresso wood design is a familiar one since the Lexus GS from 2013, and the pattern is used all over the wood inside this Lexus LX 570. You will find the usual controls on it’s steering wheel which is available in almost all their Lexus models such as audio, voice activation, multi-information display and cruise control. But to be honest the tough part about driving this SUV has been the steering wheel. It felt stiff and heavy and you literally feel the weight of the SUV on every turn.
The center console of the Lexus LX 570 is a sleek black glossy console. When we got into the SUV the first time, we didn’t find any names for the controls in the center console. All of the names came into life when the car was switched on. The control buttons on the center console is quite slim and was difficult to use these slim buttons and needed getting used to it. I personally feel the control buttons needs to be larger to make it convenient for the driver. The vehicle has advanced technology such as wireless charging tray available under the center console box. The charger also has an indicator light which will notify once the device charge is full.
The diamond stitch leather adds a great glamour to the vehicle. It’s not just on the seats but nicely done on the side of the doors as well. Also note the espresso wood stretched on the side doors. The smart access key helps to unlock and lock doors by just having the keys in your pocket. The speakers are all around the vehicle. The SUV actually features 19 speakers with a 7.1-channel architecture.
The available full-color Head-Up Display can project key information about your audio, speed, current gear and RPM onto the windshield. Display information can be adjusted to suit the driver. Additionally, this in-dash display offers multimedia linkage so that you can view incoming calls, current song titles and more. For some reason the head up display is not being projected in front of the drivers view but rather towards the center of the windshield. We felt it wasn’t located in a very convenient position for the driver. The only adjustment you could do was to move the display projected up or down but not side ways.
The seats are plush and comfortable in the LX 570. As expected there is multi-adjustable power front seats. The 14-way driver’s seat (which includes dual-function lumbar support) and the 12-way passenger’s seat both feature a memory function to recall your preferred settings with the touch of a button. In addition, headrests are height-adjustable for all seating positions. The memory function allows multiple drivers to personalize and recall the settings for the driver’s seat (except lumbar), the outside mirrors and the steering-wheel position.
The available dual-screen Rear-Seat Entertainment System enables two video sources to be viewed at the same time on LCD screens behind the front headrests. Using a single remote control, one can be used as a DVD/CD player, for instance, and the other as a game console or audio player via AV input jacks. A wireless remote, wireless headphones and an AC power outlet are also included.
The LX features a standard four-zone climate-control system that allows you and your passengers to select ideal temperature settings. There is a cool box is neatly integrated into the armrest console and helps keep your beverages and other items nicely chilled but this becomes a disadvantage if you are not traveling more often, you probably lose out a nice handy space for a cool box unused. Multiple power sources are conveniently located throughout the cabin. There’s a dual-compartment center console with accessory power outlet; a middle-row power outlet, 120V AC power outlet as well.
The LX 570 as expected has all controls to help you drive in the desert. With a turn of a dial, Adaptive Variable Suspension monitors and adjusts the electronically controlled shock absorber settings at each wheel, depending on road surface, vehicle speed and your driving style. Plenty of setting for the driver to help push dodge the thick sands in the desert.
The LX 570 has a three row seat. The split rear door can be raised and lowered electronically. The third row seats can also be easily lowered electronically which does help. There is good enough space in the rear when the third row seats are folded.

To give more meaning to this powerful beast you had to take some picture in desert on top of some sand dune that would had drawn similarity. But as always great write up highlighting each and every feature of the the card minutely just by reading I feel I drew the car.
Thank you TJ for your feedback. I shall have more pictures on sand dune for such SUV.
