The two spoke leather steering wheel felt great to hold. What was interesting was the touch sensitive switches found on the steering wheel which was dynamic and options change as per the function in play. That was a rare feature that you see.
As soon as you enter the vehicle you realize how sleek the dashboard remains inspite of all the additional functionalities of the vehicle. This trick is by adding two interactive touch screens in the center console with fewer dials which makes the center console much cleaner and all those options are available via the screen. The materials used for the interior is also of no compromise. The high gloss veneers give a wonderful touch to the interior. The integrated storage solution in the center arm rest is contains a deep refrigerator compartment. The vehicle has up to 7 x USB ports, 5 x 12V power sockets, 2 x domestic power sockets to ensure you stay connected.
Love the control buttons available on the passenger doors for both the front and back seat passengers. Infact, I’ve never seen so many controls available for the back seat passengers. The matte finish aluminum buttons available for the windows is of good size and even more cool looking are those glass control buttons available on top of the door for the reading lights and curtains. Also note the seat adjustable buttons are available on the door rather than on the bottom of the seat which is easier to use. The seat control buttons are also available for the rear passengers on their door, the same as the front seat passengers.
The Range Rover Vogue as expected has everything ready to be driven off road. It’s got an all wheel drive. You have a selection of seven manual Terrain Response settings: Comfort, Dynamic, Eco, Grass/Gravel/Snow, Mud and Ruts, Sand, and Rock Crawl which basically changes the responses of the vehicle‘s engine, gearbox, differentials and chassis systems. Electronic air suspension that makes off road experience much easier. The vehicle can be raised as much as 80mm during an off road trip. As you drive in high speeds the vehicle electronic air suspension would auto adjust the height of the vehicle for the benefits of aerodynamics and fuel consumption by lowering it down. The ride height setting in the vehicle is useful to adjust the journey in different kinds of terrain and off road conditions. Features such as all terrain makes it easy to drive in most conditions. As per the specification, the vehicle has the strength to tow up to 3,500kg.
Two Touch Pro Duo has two 10″ high-definition Touchscreens in the center of the dashboard. This is complemented by the 12.3″ Interactive Driver Display with configurable touch steering wheel controls and full colour Head-up Display. The Touch responsiveness is good and the menu has been designed to be able to easily navigate. The ambient lighting can be customized at different levels of lighting. For example you can have different colors for the top and bottom space for your interior lighting at the same time.
The 12.3 inch driver display is quite impressive. I love the fact that you could have a clean display with not too many details scattered on the display but instead just a flat display of what you want to see. Also the interactive driver display has been immaculate when it comes to the quality of the display and the color graphics used. Even in bright daylight the interactive driver display is very well visible with all details perfectly clear.
Rear seats now have increased recline and all seats have deeper cushioning for greater comfort, whilst optional 10″ Rear Seat Entertainment with Touchscreens ensures passengers also enjoy optimum levels of entertainment. Also the rear vents are digital though you see a knob, the inner circle of the knob has a digital display showing the temperature setting. The new model comes with thicker door glass and better acoustic insulation making this vehicle the quietest Range Rover ever.
There is plenty of space for Cargo with features such as power recline and Convenience Fold with Remote Intelligent Seat Fold. Automatic Access Height, Easy Loading and an Activity Key help ensure easy entry, exit and loading. Loading heavy objects into the boot is easier as you can lower the vehicles rear suspension height by up to 50mm to suit your needs. These functions can be operated via the 10″ Touchscreen or using the button in the loadspace.
