Tete is a restaurant that combines a culinary experience between Middle East and Latin America. You might have been to a Brazilian restaurant or an Arabic restaurant but nothing like this one where you get the best of both worlds. Diners gets the opportunity to experience the best of Lebanese and Brazilian Cuisine. This is a must visit restaurant for a meat lover. Most notably the best cuts of prime meats are all here! Tete is open in the morning at 10:00 am for breakfast and has a wide range of a menu serving hot and cold mezze, salads, soups, savoury and sweet saj, toasted sandwiches, the free-flowing churrascaria, Brazilian and Arabic grills, a special steak menu and a long list of tempting desserts. They also have a special Churrascaria menu which includes a mix of Brazilian and Lebanese style beef, lamb, poultry and seafood.

Tropical Summer shore Fruit Juice – AED 36 – Red guava, peach, pineapple, coconut, banana, dragon fruits
Fruit Cocktail – AED 42

They’ve got plenty of fresh juices they can make for you, using exclusive fruits such as the dragon fruit. The tropical summer shore fruit juice had unique mix of fruits in it and we thoroughly enjoyed our drink. What was more interesting on the table was the pretty looking fruit cocktail that made heads turn. It’s an impressive serving of mixed fruit juice, fruit pieces and a lovely ice cream on top. You can call it a dessert and is a classic one for an Arabic Restaurant.

Complimentary hot breads and pickles came to the table for anyone who ordered a main. The seafood salad was impressive for it’s style of presentation and it’s luscious dressing. You can expect atleast three kinds of seafood in the salad. In our case we found salmon, prawns and squid in our seafood salad. Then came the grand Mezzah platter. Highly recommend everyone to get one of these on your table. It’s got the best of their hot and cold starters. Their hummus and their fried items such as the kibbeh, spinach fatayer and falafel is mind blowing. Of course their greens such as the tabouleh and fatteh were also included in the platter which really gave a good feeling in the stomach. The vine leaves that came in this platter was probably one of the the best vine leaves we’ve had.

Tete Mix Grill – AED 105 – Mixed with lamb chops, BBQ Lamb, Sheesh Tawouk, Arayees
Beef MedalionW Blk B – AED 119 – Beef sirloin with black bean salsa, Pepper puree

The exciting part was obviously their meats. We tried one meat from the Brazilian section and one from the Lebanese. From the Brazilian we picked a heavy piece of Sirloin. It looked gorgeous on that plate and the meat was cooked to perfection. It’s not the kind for those who prefer a well done piece cause the Sirloin is so thick that to get well done on the inside would be difficult. It had a pink texture on the inside of the steak. Nevertheless if you enjoy Sirloin you should be happy.  The puree and the salsa were a good side to the beef. The Tete Mixed grill consisted of different kinds of Lebanese meats. Each one of them had to complimented and I can tell you the lamb chops were just amazing.

I had to take some extra shots of this dessert. The cheese kunafa was splendid. It was the cheese that made this kunafa very special. The cheese would stretch forever. The cheese kunafa comes hot to your table. They take atleast 10 mins to make it but worth waiting for this piece of magnificent kunafa. We then ended our lunch with a fine Turkish coffee. Loved everything about Tete. The interiors, the food  and the hospitality by the host. Click here to visit their official website. Click pictures to see them in full screen view.
