The Butcher burger joint is a restaurant open for the love of burgers. A burger bar that serves top quality burgers on the spot using fresh ingredients. It’s all about the experience where you get to see your burger being freshly made right in front of your eyes in hot fire. Beef burgers are the ones to try, they serve chicken and you also find a cod fish in the menu. The sides are just amazing with king sized cut fries that stayed crisp till the end of our meal at The Burger.

It’s a small restaurant. You can opt to sit at their counter on high stools next to the grill or you could relax further behind on their bench. We kick started our dinner with their fancy Instagram worthy milkshakes. We tried the brownie and peanut butter milkshake, and I personally loved the Peanut butter milkshake. It comes with plenty of whip cream on top which I thought was a lot, it gets overwhelming as it gets diluted with the shake closer to the finish, I might want to have the milkshake next time without the whip cream to enjoy the purity of the milkshake by itself. We were in complete love with their fries especially the sweet potato fries. The sweet potato fries was thinner, crisper than the classic Butcher Fries.

THE DADDY – AED 69 – 230g of prime Angus beef topped with melted Edam, cheese, lettuce, tomato, beef bacon, bbq sauce and grilled onion
BABAGANOUSH – AED 52 – Prime Angus beef, lettuce, tomato, grilled onion, mashed grilled aubergines blended with sesame paste & spices

We tried their signature burgers and hotdog. Our favourite burger was ‘The Daddy’ which came with the biggest slice of the prime Angust beef(230g), it doesn’t get thicker but wider in size. What we loved about this burger was the juiciness and the amazing flavour that came from the content inside the burger, especially the beef bacon. The burgers are heavily loaded. The Babaganoush was more like a paste used, so it’s not really a genuine egg plant that you expect from Babaganoush. We also tried a bun-less burger, actually we expected the buns to be replaced by a vegetable wrap but instead it was presented more like a salad. A fully sized Prime Angus Beef patty mixed with vegetables. The patty is not cut so it’s a bit challenging manuering through that bowl of vegetables. The king sized portobello mushroom was the real highlight in the bun less burger and real good one. Hot dog was long and delicious which came with chopped vegetables along with a thick lining of ketchup and mustard which made every bite pleasing.
