P.F. Chang’s restaurant just rebooted at The Dubai Mall branch and we just couldn’t resist not visiting the newly polished restaurant. Surely foodies require no introduction, P.F. Chang’s serve freshly made American Chinese specialty cuisine. The Chinese food never looked and tasted as exciting as you would see it at P.F.Chang’s. The restaurant is always busy. You always have diners pouring in at every hour of the clock. This time there were a few interesting items in their menu found exclusively at The Dubai Mall branch, so scroll down further to know what to expect at P.F.Chang’s Dubai Mall this time.
It’s a spacious restaurant where you are invited by a giant horse at the entrance like all other outlets. Inside you find a pretty pink Japanese flower plant with Chinese art all over the restaurant walls and color scheme such as red, gold and black gives the interior a bold contrast. The restaurant also has the advantage of the beautiful views of the dancing fountain at The Dubai Mall. We sat inside the restaurant as the afternoon was still a little warm. I personally enjoyed the red sofa seats provided for dining.
So we begin with their fascinating new drinks. The BLUSHING GEISHA is a must try. It’s like a sunrise on your drink. The moment you touch the liquid shell it would just burst and vanish as if it never existed. The drink by itself was so immersive. It’s a strong fruity taste with a touch of spice as we went for the spicy version. The Mong’s mule drink on the other hand was interesting in the beginning but the taste would fade as the ICE would seep in with time and the real taste just gets diluted with water. The blushing Geisha at the same time just got better with time. Highly recommend to pick this one, you just can’t go wrong with it. Also perfect for some Instagram story.
We definitely had to start with the no.1 starter and the world famous dynamite shrimps. Infact so famous that everyone started replicating it where they now call it the original dynamite shrimp on their menu. The experience eating them is always special, they came hot, crispy and that magnificent sauce on it just makes it an addictive one. The pan fried shrimp dumpling was a highlight on the table as it would create a smoke show when the chili sauce is being drizzled on the hot pan. The sushis on the other hand were just mesmerizing. I just couldn’t stop eating them. Just one after the other. The new battle of the seas tempura prawn sushi is a must try item from their sushi collection.
The singapore street noodles were thin and light and plenty in portion size. It had a wonderful flavour to it. The wok charred beef was my favourite where the charred beef was delicious and plenty of those giant mushroom around it in the pan. I thought we made a good choice from their fascinating mains collection.
The sticky toffee pudding is definitely a good pick from their dessert collection but I wasn’t impressed with their new york cheese cake, probably that’s because I’ve eaten better ones. I would recommend to instead try their traditional warm dessert which is the fried BANANA SPRING ROLLS served with ice cream. I thought they could introduce better selection for their desserts which I felt was not on par with illustrious menu otherwise. It’s been a wonderful experience eating at P.F. Chang’s and you can also have a look at their official website to see their latest menu. Click here to visit their website. Click pictures below to see them in full screen view:
