Breakfast by the sea has been a wonderful experience at IBN ALBAHR restaurant. It was a perfect start to our morning accompanied by a lovely weather at a restaurant that served Arabic breakfast next to the sea shore. It was a unique experience as it was not an everyday experience eating next to a shore. Kids were having fun playing in the water, while we enjoyed diving into our breakfast basket filled with delicious Lebanese breakfast, munching on them while staring at the beautiful views of Dubai’s man-made Palm Island. I think one would come here more for the unique experience than the breakfast. We were impressed with the morning ambience here. The weather was also terrific that we could comfortably sit outside the restaurant till 11:00am without feeling the heat of the sun. They also provide these giant sun shades for every table so no matter you are seated, you should have no issues with direct sun light.

It starts with their fresh orange juice which was really good cause it was simply freshly squeezed and you could tell when you drink it. Unfortunately they serve only one kind of fruit juice. The real excitement was when the breakfast basket reaches our table. To be honest its a simple spread of Arabic breakfast but so well presented that you feel something special about it. Plenty of eggs to eat, you have 2 plates of 3 to 4 eggs of your choice, it can be an omlette, scrambled, sunny side up or however you want it. My favourite would be their hot bread stuffed with zaater. I was a little disappointed not to see zaater and olive dip which was visible in their breakfast advert as well the fig jam was missing, instead we got a halawa sweet as a replacement. The Balila was my other favorite from the lot and you would eat it along with bread provided. The white labneh felt so pure eating and was definitely an irresistible delicious dip. You will love Foul Moudammas if you enjoy beans.

We also did try one of their signature desserts which was the perfect ending to our beautiful breakfast today. It was a thick clotted cream topped with fruits, honey and pistachio. Felt amazing having this dessert and couldn’t have picked a better one to end our breakfast. Highly recommend to try their fabulous desserts when you visit IBN ALBAHR.
