Logma fans now have good reasons to cheer as they now have come up with new additions to their menu to enthrall our taste buds once again including new drinks. Eating in Logma will always remind you what Dubai’s real food is all about.
From left: Melon Breeze AED 32 and Matcha Shake AED 32
The Matcha Shake was a new addition to their menu. Believe me this is not the Matcha that you should hesitate to order. This is one of those Matcha drinks that I could really enjoy. Usually the Matcha flavour is so strong that sometimes it is difficult to enjoy the taste but this one was well balanced that you would want more of every sip. Highly recommend to try this Matcha Shake.
Halloumi salad – AED 48 – Mixed baby greens with cucumber, cherry tomato, fennel, topped with grilled halloumi cheese, pine nuts and pomegranate seeds tossed in Logma dressing and pomegranate molassesFalafel platter – AED 28 served with Tahini sauceChicken Samboosa – AED 34 – (Herbed chicken with cheddar, pepper and basil sun-dried pesto)
The new Halloumi salad was mind blowing. Packed with healthy ingredients, the salad was a charm. The falafel was typical that you find anywhere in Dubai. The samboosa are a must try at Logma. It doesn’t matter which one you pick. They are light, crisp and captivating!
Kafta – AED 36 – Kafta, tomato, pickle, onion and parsley salad with tahini sauceTikka Paratha – AED 42 – Spicy chicken with onions, tomato, coriander with mint sauceTikka Paratha – AED 42 – Spicy chicken with onions, tomato, coriander with mint sauce
Then came the heavy duty meal. The Tikka Paratha came in style. It was spicy as said on their menu, adults would love it and kids will stay away from it. The kafta sandwich was soft stuffed in traditional Emarati bread which was fluffy and nice.
Logma Lamb Biriyani – AED 62 – Marinated Lamb with aromatic biriyani rice served with raita sauceLogma Lamb Biriyani – AED 62 – Marinated Lamb with aromatic biriyani rice served with raita sauce
The Lamb Biriyani had a nice flavour and the best part it was packed with chunks of meat. I had to mention no matter what we ordered they all reached our table quickly. Service was quick and is well managed considering how busy the restaurant is, 60% of the crowd around you are usually Arabs.
Lotus Lugaimat – AED 36 – with biscoff spread and lotus crumbsCheese Kunafa – AED 34 – topped with vanilla ice cream, pistachio and sugar syrup
Desserts are a must try at Logma. Lugaimat being Dubai’s traditional dessert they have now taken it to the next level. It now comes in many flavours. We tried the all new lotus lugaimat which was pleasingly rich and sweet in taste. Enjoyed every bit of it. We weren’t impressed with their cheese Kunafa as we’ve had better ones. I suggest try some other dessert instead, like their Rahash fondant which is my favourite here. Click here to read more about our first visit to Logma. Click here to visit Logma’s official webpage.
