1life kitchen is a restaurant and cafe located at Dubai Design District serving exciting and innovative menu. It’s the food we all know but with a twist and a work of art on a plate. A blend of multiple recipes if needed, but they make sure your eyes are full when the food comes to your table. There is a standalone cafe inside the restaurant serving amazing coffee. They have a wide selection of coffee especially with milk and some which you might here for the first time. This place is a must if you are looking for healthy options, fresh bakes and a great spot for chit chatting while you get rejuvenated with amazing food and drinks.

We were here on a saturday morning and this restaurant was busy! We had to settle with an outdoor seat first but later we managed to sneak in when one of the tables on the inside got vacant. Outdoor seating is pleasant with their comfy seating. The humidity can be a problem over the coming weeks. We really like the place for it’s high ceiling and a wall of glass where there is lot of natural light pouring into the restaurant. At the Kitchen counter, you are tantalized by their long stretch of bakery, sandwiches and salad. Depending on the time you visit, the counter food would keep changing. They also have a 40% off on their salads usually after 03:00pm, so that’s a tip worth noting.

They have an amazing collection of hot and cold drinks. We tried the Peanut butter smoothie(Peanut butter, banana, dates, milk, sea salt) which came thick and cold, we also had a mixed fruit smoothie(Mango, passion fruit, banana, orange), both these smoothies were rich and fills you up easily. You must try one of their coffees here as they make really good tasting coffee. This time we tried a new one called the Bicerin(Double espresso, chocolate & milk) which comes little but is a wow.

The breakfast has been amazing. The Cilbir which is a Turkish specialty was so pure to its taste, felt so good in the stomach and so pure in appearance as well. The veal sausages in this dish was really my favourite. I don’t think I need to tell much about the Pulled Beef Benedict, the picture should speak for itself. The pulled beef definitely stole the show. The Pitaya Quinola was one of the healthiest option you can try at this restaurant. Plenty of oats and chia seeds to eat along with greek yoghurt which is a delight and felt like as if eating a dessert.
