Ketch Up is an American inspired casual dining restaurant and is famous for serving quality buns and burgers. We were at Bluewaters island for breakfast in Ketch up. Their breakfast menu, simply blew us away in taste and quality. It was one of the best American breakfast we’ve had, the views and location of this restaurant along with a cool climate made our morning just wonderful. Menu is a little over priced but otherwise you can only be happy at Ketch Up.
Ketch Up at Bluewaters Island has the perfect views of Dubai waters, it is a frequent site to see boats passing by while you eat at the restaurant. The restaurant is also facing the JBR beach and it’s tall buildings. In between you often see boats sailing and if you go close to the water you also see fishes and plenty of them. It’s one of those casual dining restaurant where you want to sit outside than inside.
They make amazing coffee here and they are good looking too. The ABC juice was nice which was a healthy combination of apple, beetroot and carrot. Surprisingly being an American restaurant they didn’t have any milkshakes on the menu.
We ordered 3 from their breakfast menu. Never did I imagine a burger with eggs be so delicious. First credit goes to their special buns which was a delight to bite and ofcourse rest of all that content on it including the beef bacon strips which added a nice touch to the burger. It was a sheer joy eating it. The eggs Benedict turned out to be even better. Once again you appreciate the bread along with the rest of the items on top of it such as the salmon, zucchini and hollandaise sauce. The pancakes were really cute and luscious, but too little at the same time. Wish they served little more of these and they tasted very different from the typical pancakes and were irresistible. The sauces accompanied were just fantastic for these beautiful cottage cheese pancakes.
