Cut Fruits for Iftar
Lentil Soup
Citrus & Mesclun Salad – Orange, Thai chili-lemongrass dressing, mix lettuce
Cassava Chaat – arugula, sweet & Sour chutney, tomato lace

Nicely cut fruits are found in a bowl for Iftar openers along with dates and unlimited premium water. The warm lentil soup had a drizzle of green chutney on it which made it look pretty and a twist to the lentil soup. Next came the cold starters and that’s when we began to notice the plates for it’s unique design and texture. The salad was different andĀ  delicious. The chaat was completely different from what you typically expect and had a sticky texture to it that held the chick peas together. We just wished they could serve more of it as you get never get tired of eating these kind of chaats.

Hot platter – Burrata Malai Paneer Tikka, Beef Empanadas, Lamb Seekh Kebab, Chicken Tikka

The hot platter was a special stage showing of 4 of their spectacular appetizers. The Paneer tikka was scrumptious, the lamb seekh kebab was just a melt in the mouth. The beef empanadas came hot from the fry and you get that smoke coming out when you break open the empanadas which was stuffed with minced beef. Chicken Tikka was straight forward, it was like the typical chicken tikka you find in other Indian restaurant but we liked how tender it was and was neatly cut into 4 pieces.

Nimona – Mashed tempered green peas, smoked stracciatella, burnt orange, garlic tarragon naan
Burrata Butter Chicken – charcoal roasted chicken tikka, tomato makhani, burrata cheese
Prawns Moilee – Prawns cooked in mild turmeric, coconut, ginger sauce-plain rice
Rice & Naan

We tried 3 different mains. The burata butter chicken was my favourite from the lot, in fact they had also shared their butter chicken recipe in Khaleej Times this ramadan. The Goan prawns curry was just superb. The flavours coming out of it was addictive, just wanted to have more of the curry. We also tried their prettiest main course from the lot which was the vegetable green peas curry called Nimona. I wouldn’t actually call it a curry, as it was really thick and went great with a naan bread on the side. By the way, all their mains come with bread or rice as a side. You can have it the way you like it. Don’t forget to try their garlic naan which is highly recommended.

Chocolate Berry Cake – chocolate ganace, berries compote, raspberry-feneel sorbet
Gulab Jamun Brulee Tart

For desserts there was a rich chocolate cake served with raspberry sorbet on the side Ā and a cream brĆ»lĆ©e tart which had pieces of Gulab Jamun on it, to be honest I was enjoying those little pieces of the Gulab Jamun more than anything else.
